How should the drip irrigation system be arranged with this sheet?

The drip lines can be placed either above or below the sheet.
– If placed above, the water is absorbed and then released into the soil. Durability is not reduced and the sheet stays well anchored even in strong winds.
– If placed underneath, the lines are protected from the sun.

How long does Prime Plant last?

The mulch sheet lasts between 5 and 7 months, depending on weather conditions and soil moisture.

Is Prime Plant completely natural?

Yes, the sheet is completely natural and neutral. It nourishes the soil and provides organic matter beneficial to microorganisms and plants.

Can the sheet be laid by machine? . . .

Prime Plant is specifically designed to be laid with an automatic mulching machine, as well as with transplanters or seeders. The sheet is elastic and resistant to mechanical stress during installation.

We are a farm and would like to know the costs for large quantities. We lay the sheet mechanically and need rolls 140 cm wide. Can we irrigate with sprinkler jets? Does it reduce durability?

This product can be irrigated with jet irrigation, rain or sprinklers. You can also place the dripline on top of the sheet.

Which fertilizers are included in the sheet? I’d like a precise answer with product types and composition.

Inside the sheet there are two types of elements that act as natural fertilizers for the soil and plants, namely:

- the plant fiber that makes up the product

- two types of brown algae (Ascophyllum Nodosum and Laminaria Digitata), first dissolved in water and then added to the mixture at a rate of 0.75 ml per square meter (organic carbon 6%, mannitol 9 g/L)

Does the chemical analysis table (arsenic, lead, etc.) refer to the fertilizer in the sheet?

The table shows the residual analysis of the sheet. The fertilizing action comes from cellulose and Ascophyllum Nodosum and Laminaria Digitata algae, first dissolved in water and then added to the mixture at a rate of 0.75 ml per square meter (organic carbon 6%, mannitol 9 g/L).

Is it suitable for organic farming considering the fertilizer released by the sheet?

The fertilizer added to the sheet is a solution of brown seaweed cream (Ascophyllum Nodosum and Laminaria Digitata). It is a completely natural product with specific biostimulant properties that is permitted in organic farming.

Once the sheet is laid, how do I ridge the soil?

Ridging is not needed with this sheet.

Delivery times after payment?

Delivery time is 5–7 working days.

My farm is certified organic and everything entering must be approved. Is your sheet certified for this use?

The sheet complies with EU standards for organic farming. It is made from pre-consumer recycled FSC paper, leaves no residues, and has a neutral pH. Registration with the Italian Ministry (Mipaaf) is in progress, but this does not prevent its use.

How many centimeters of sheet need to be buried to withstand strong winds?

Ideally, 10–15 cm should be buried.

Weight of a 0.90 m × 100 m roll?

The roll weighs 13 kg.

Can two 0.60 m strips be overlapped to cover a 1 m bed, or is it better to use the 1.20 m one?

You can overlap the sheets. Keep in mind the entire seam must be fixed with soil or weights. Using the 1.20 m sheet offers greater strength in the central part.
